Duk-Sun and the girls made these clear ornaments with origami inside them for the teachers for Christmas. They made them a lot faster than when they made those dolls in October.

Church at Home
We usually go out to church, but this particular Sunday, we got so behind schedule that we ended up having a nice breakfast at a restaurant, then we returned home and had our own church service. That's why we are so dressed up for what looks like a family devotion in the photos.
Paper Balls
Duk-Sun hung paper balls on strings and the girls slapped and punched them. The amazing thing is that they don't flatten or pop when you do that.

Christmas Musical at SHCS
When you see students perform in a musical it gives you an impression of the music program at that school. We were quite pleased with how well the kids sang and said their lines in the musical tonight. I may add a video clip later, but for now, here are some photos.

Peter and Max Arrive
We welcome Peter (in the black) back with us again this year. He is a good kid. He works hard and plays hard and smiles a lot. We're so glad he endured the long plane ride to spend some more time with us.
We expected Andy Yoon to come with Peter, since they came together last year, but Andy had other plans.
Instead, Peter brought his friend Max Kim with him. Max is also fun-loving, energetic, and very happy to be here. It's delightful to watch them play together. And Peter helps Max by nearly always speaking English to him. That's got to be hard, but they know that if they do it, the hard work will pay off with English fluency.

Christmas Symphony
Here we are at our friend Rae Lyon's church, North Ave. Presbyterian Church, in downtown Atlanta. We attended the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's annual free Christmas concert there. It was moving, and fun.
Lisa's Mom Departs
Since Lisa's mom, Yoosung was in New York with Lisa during her second week, her visit seemed kind of short. Still, we got to know her some more and really enjoyed seeing her. We are looking forward to seeing Heidi's mom when she visits in the spring. :)
