Camp Winshape Closing Ceremony

It was our third time sending kids to Camp Winshape, but it was our first time actually making it there in time to catch the closing ceremony.  It quite interesting to watch and I'm sure it was especially meaningful if you had been there for two weeks at camp!  After the ceremony, we had a Chick-Fil-A picnic there on the grounds.  Hanc said he had a great time at camp and he didn't want to come home.

Next, we headed to Cave Springs (about 20 miles away from Rome) for some relief from the heat.  We swam in a spring-fed pool that felt ice cold at first, but not so bad once you got used to it.  There were even a few fish in the pool to play with.  We all loved that refreshing, cool water!  What a blessing!
