A Great Performance

Hank and Michelle participated in a Christmas Concert / Play at ICS Tuesday night. They memorized their songs and lines well. It was a delight to see them tell the story of Christmas so well.

An interesting version of "Jesus Loves Me"

Adventure at Camp Highlands

The "shuttle" ran into a bit of an obstacle when when it found a car blocking the road. This was a steep mountain road as you can see! Even on the second attempt the front wheels were in the air!

Oakcliff PTA Night

This is the outfit Hannah wore to Laura's school's PTA meeting. She tried on some Japanese "geta" shoes for about 30 seconds. Here is Laura's teacher, Mr. Bedford, and her class.

Book Character Parade Day

Today was Book Character Parade Day at Intown Community School. Students (and teachers) could pick a favorite book character and go to school dressed as that character. There was also a parade, which made it more fun. Hank went as Mr. Tumnus from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Michelle went as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz.

Here's Michelle's teacher, Mr. Pohl dressed as Tom Sawyer.

Lunch With Laura

One nice thing about public school that any day you wish you can go unannounced and have lunch with your child. There were so many of us we had to separate from the class and go to the silent lunch table.

Michelle was with us because it was a Tuesday. Michelle gets out at 11:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Intown Community School

It's not certain if we'll be accepted or not, but we are applying for Hank and Michelle to go to Intown Community School. Here are just a few photos of the outside of the school, mainly for their parents.
