While Duk-Sun was working at Oakcliff Elementary School a few years back, she met Laura Park. She is a very sweet child who has spent a lot of time at our house and hanging out with us. Laura has had an interesting life so far. She has two Korean parents, a mom in Argentina where she was born, and a dad in Atlanta, where she lives now. She also has an older brother who lives here. She has spent about half of her life in Argentina and the other half in Georgia, and she has only visited Korea. In the photos below, Laura's father Jong Lark is treating us to Korean bulgogi (beef cooked on an indoor charcoal grill) at a local restaurant.
