Our friends the Gillis' hosted an event at their new farm house with acreage. The event was to honor Michelle's deceased father. (It's a Korean cultural thing.) Naomi was too antsy to stay inside where the ceremony was going on, so I took her out for a walk. A funny thing happened. Near the back of the property as Naomi and I circled the pond we came up on a deer at the stream. Funny thing is, the owners said they had yet to see a deer on their property.
