Well folks, we can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel now. Today was "the signing day" of the paperwork that the agency uses to file for Naomi's adoption. Yeah!!! The actual adoption process has finally begun! Tomorrow, Aleeza, our CW will hand Naomi's paperwork to the adoption attorney, he'll file it at the appropriate court, and we just have to wait for our court date--which should be 60 to 75 days from now. That court day will be the actual day of adoption.
Since something really interesting happened on Hannah's signing day two and a half years ago (November 19th), I thought I'd check the news for any interesting events in history. Sure enough, I found this one: Noah's Ark found in Turkey. Is that interesting, or what! Oh, what interesting thing happened on Hannah's paperwork signing day, you ask? It was Naomi's birthday!
A footnote. I just read this post to Duk-Sun, and Naomi was listening and heard "Naomi's birthday" and said, "My birthday! I need cake!"
