2011 Men's Conference

I attended my 3rd or 4th Johnny Hunt Men's Conference this past weekend.  It was worth going to.  Pastor Johnny Hunt had a lot of convicting things to say.  There were thousands of men there to hear it.  It's good to do that on such a grand scale.  One speaker challenged us to become mentors to younger men.  I spend a lot of time with boys at my house in hopes of mentoring them toward a close relationship with Christ.  After this weekend, I felt inspired to read up more on how to be a better mentor.  I took young Peter Ban with me to the conference.  He seemed the one most likely to benefit from such and event among the boys we have.  He seemed to enjoy himself and it certainly made an impression on him.
