Transition Day for Hannah

Today Hannah came not merely for a visit, but actually to stay at her new foster home. If all goes well in a couple of months, it will be her new adoptive family home. Ms. Morris, Hannah's foster mom till now, is a hero in our book. She has quite a heart to be doing what she is doing. It must be tough to let go of a child whom you've nurtured from birth and to whom you've grown attached.
Saying goodbye. God bless you, Ms. Morris! Ms. Morris said a lot of people are going to miss Hannah. She has 3 children, Dillan, Meme and T.J. who will miss her. Her mother will miss Hannah. A little girl her age named MaCaiah spent a lot of time with Hannah. MaCaiah is Ms. Morris' niece, too. Here they are together.
All the folks at the YMCA and at church will miss her, and also the relatives and the neighbors. We promised to stay in touch and visit every so often.
Celebrating at "Sweet Tomato", a really good salad and more restaurant.

Hannah liked most everything.

Now Hannah has her toys and clothes at our house.

The neighbors came to give gifts and hugs and to congratulate us.

After a nap, it was time for a dip in the pool at "The Oaks".

The kiddie pool.

Cool toys at the pool.

Watching Hank and Michelle swim. Hannah was intrigued.
