Uncle Bill's Funeral

My dear Uncle Bill went to be with the Lord this month. He lived a long and fruitful life. At his funeral, his son's and his brother (my dad) all praised him for his evangelical heart. Uncle Bill was never ashamed of the good news of Jesus Christ, and he did not hesitate to share his faith wherever he was. That kind of thing takes guts. I will miss him. The last few years of his life he didn't recognize people well but he always pretended to so he didn't hurt their feelings. I'm sad at losing him, but more than that I'm happy that he is home in heaven and I'm sure I'll see him again before too long.
