Bugs at Night

The insect activity is amazing this time of year. I wanted the kids to see some of what goes on at night while they are sleeping so at around 10pm I took these photos.
A kind of cricket sipping nectar from a hibiscus flower.

A centipede on a Yoshino Cherry Tree leaf.

A little green spider.

Is it me, or does this grasshopper look guilty?
