This family you see with us is the Kim family. ("Kim" is a very common family name in Korea.) They came to help their son Daniel get started at Georgia Tech. The Kim's are friends of our friends who were here as visiting scholars a decade ago when we lived in Dunwoody. About 18 years ago the Kim's had come under similar conditions, and Daniel was born then, so Daniel is an American citizen. The Kim's will be in Atlanta for a few weeks, and tagged along with us to the ranch. They couldn't stay because Daniel had to be at Georgia Tech for an orientation at 8am the next day.

Trip to Horse Creek
Since summer was almost over, and we had not gone anywhere special, we asked my sister and brother-in-law if we could hang out at their ranch for a few days and they said yes! We are thankful for their generosity!

Eating peach ice cream at Dickie Farms.

Long sleeves to keep the noonday sun off my arms.

Watching the fish eat bugs that flew into the water. There were also spiders under there spinning their webs.
