Our trip to the mountains was supposed to start today, but I did a reality check and decided not to do all that driving on Halloween which was on a Friday this year--the worst driving day of the year, they say. We got it moved forward a day, so tonight we were staying home. The church next door was holding a huge fall festival, so we went. It was great! There were hay rides, games, face painting, hair painting, car loads of candy, hot dogs, peanuts, cotton candy, pony rides, inflatable slides, and prizes just for being there. Here are a few photos.
