My Aunt Sarah

We had to say goodbye to my Aunt Sarah today. She was our favorite Aunt. She had lots of kids and they had lots of kids and so on and so on. We always felt welcome around her and her offspring. She created a warmth that defined family for me in many ways. Since my mom, her sister, passed away over 20 years ago, she was all the more important to us. She lost her husband at an early age, and raised her 9 children on her own. We all had a lot of respect for her, and the world is a better place because of her.
